At Premier Dental Partners, we specialize in the areas of endodontics and periodontics for patients aged 13 and up. Our knowledgeable team works closely with referring dentists and other dental professionals. This helps us understand each patient’s unique needs so that we can provide them with the treatment they need to create a healthy smile. Due to the nature of our specialties, we may only see a patient once, but our team works tirelessly to ensure every visit is a positive experience.

Meet Your Specialists
Dr. Andrew Monestero
Dr. Monestero grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. Heading off to college, he was undecided about his major and not sure if he wanted to focus on the premedical and predental track or a business track. In his freshman year orientation, he opted for business but made a promise to himself that if he didn’t enjoy the day-to-day operations of business, he would go back to school for medicine or dentistry. After working for more than three years in a consulting practice, he decided it was time to explore medicine and dentistry. In dental school, Dr. Monestero became fascinated with surgery and dental implants and found himself drawn to oral surgery and periodontics.
Dr. Monestero graduated from dental school in 2011 and completed his periodontics residency in 2014. He has been practicing dentistry and periodontics for over 12 years now. He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implants, as well as a specialist in soft-tissue esthetics, atraumatic tooth extraction, grafting (both bone and soft tissue), dental implants, and treatment of periodontal disease and gingivitis with both surgical and nonsurgical techniques.
Dentistry and periodontics are the perfect combination, using both artistry and critical thinking. Every day is different and offers new challenges. Dr. Monestero has always enjoyed working with people, working with his hands, and solving problems. He finds it extremely rewarding to be able to help someone in pain or work to alleviate their dental and medical ailments.
When not busy at the practice, Dr. Monestero enjoys reading, working out, biking, hiking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Monestero was fortunate to meet his now wife, Dr. Andrea Monestero, in dental school. This has brought him closer to her home in the surrounding St. Louis area where they have both practiced for over 10 years and are raising two fun and energetic boys.
Dr. Vanessa Reuter
Dr. Reuter is a graduate of Marquette University (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and the University of Alabama-Birmingham (endodontic residency). She enjoys being a servant leader to many patients, her team, family, and friends.
Dr. Reuter always knew she wanted a career in health care so she could help people. She enjoys working with the team in a small office setting. Dr. Reuter loves making patients feel comfortable and helping them by treating their painful conditions.
As a detail-oriented person, Dr. Reuter also enjoys the clinical and diagnostic aspects of endodontics. Her mission in dentistry is to provide the absolute best dental care for each patient and to create a kind, caring environment with the highest level of integrity. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Reuter is a mom of four and loves spending time with her family. When she’s not busy at the practice, you will often find her at school events or the soccer field. Dr. Reuter also loves to run, play tennis, and read in her free time.
